Mission:
The English Language and Literature Department has developed a grades 9-12 college preparatory curriculum that focuses on critical reading, literary analysis, and writing. Additionally, students at all grade levels are challenged to improve their fluency in English. Teachers within the department have many years of valuable experience working in top schools both in the United States and internationally. As a group, they research current standards and best-practices in order to inform their teaching strategies.
