A SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science

  • At least 3 years relevant experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
  • Operational knowledge of network and routing protocols, router and switching configuration, servers, patch management
  • Ability to adapt, integrate, and modify existing programs or vendor-supplied packaged programs for use with existing information systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on servers, computers, and peripheral equipment
  • Experience with VMware infrastructure
  • Experience with Google Workspace
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a member of a team
  • Ability to communicate information to faculty, students, staff, and the public in a clear and concise manner
