ACS Student With Gold Medal from the International Physics Olympiad

Our graduate Veselin Karadzhov is the only Bulgarian student with a gold medal at the 43rd International Physics Olympiad that took place in Tallinn, Estonia, on July 15.

The whole Bulgarian National Team performed excellently - in addition to Veselin’s gold medal, the other members won two silver and one bronze medals. This year, 82 countries participated with their teams at the physics olympiad in Tallinn. Congratulations to Veselin, the other students from the Bulgarian team, and their advisors!
