We are seeking a Director of Fundraising to join the ACS Development Office. Responsibilities include securing philanthropic support, leading fundraising strategies, and managing fundraising campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience in similar roles, preferably in educational or non-profit sectors, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a results-driven approach. About the Role

As the Director of Fundraising, you will play a key role in gift planning, donor cultivation, and major gift fundraising. You will work closely with a remarkable development team, Senior Leadership, and the ACS Board to build lasting relationships with alumni, partners, and benefactors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive annual fundraising plan

  • Cultivate and manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects

  • Lead engagement initiatives to strengthen ties with the school

  • Oversee fundraising events and campaigns to support ACS’s mission

  • Act as the primary spokesperson for advancement efforts

  • Utilize data analytics to track fundraising performance and donor trends

Preferred Competences

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field

  • Proven experience in fundraising, advancement, or non-profit development

  • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bulgarian

  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities

  • Team player with the ability to manage tasks independently

  • Results-driven with a passion for education and philanthropy
