We are seeking a Director of Alumni Relations and Communications to join the ACS Development Office. Responsibilities include building and sustaining meaningful connections with our global alumni community, leading engagement strategies, and overseeing institutional communications. The ideal candidate will have experience in alumni relations, communications, or constituent engagement - preferably in educational or non-profit settings - along with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for community building. About the Role

As the Director of Alumni Relations and Communications, you will play a key role in alumni engagement, constituent relations, and institutional communications. You will work closely with ACS senior leadership, and the ACS Board to build lasting connections with alumni, parents, partners, and the broader ACS community worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive alumni engagement and communications strategy

• Cultivate and manage relationships with alumni at all career and life stages

• Lead initiatives to strengthen lifelong ties between alumni and the school

• Plan and coordinate alumni events, reunions, and regional gatherings in Bulgaria and abroad

• Serve as the primary liaison to alumni individuals and constituent groups

• Utilize data analytics to track engagement performance and identify outreach opportunities

Preferred Competences:

• Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field

• Proven experience in alumni relations, communications, or constituent engagement

• Very strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bulgarian

• Strategic thinker with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

• Team player with the ability to manage tasks independently

• Passionate about education, community building, and the ACS mission
