English for Beginners

Pre-school children are innate language learners. Through songs, games, stories and other engaging activities, your child can develop a positive relationship with the English language, and feel motivated and enthusiastic to communicate in English. We believe that feeling safe and happy in the classroom is the first step towards fluency and what we hope will become a lifelong language learning journey.

When you complete the course, you will be able to:

• count to ten;

• sing a rainbow song;

• recognize every letter of the alphabet by sight and sound;

• write your name;

• introduce yourself;

• name the things in your classroom;

• follow classroom instructions;

• talk about things in your life, like family, animals, food, clothes, and hobbies;

• ask and answer questions about favorite things, likes and dislikes;

• begin to intuitively use grammatical structures through mimicking the teacher.

Who is this course for? Children who are 5-7 years old and are still learning to read and write in their mother tongue.

Duration & Schedule:

• 2 modules of 45 academic hours each

• Option 1: Wednesday: 13:30 - 15:50 (following the French school "Victor Hugo")

  • Module 1: September 24, 2025 - January 28, 2026

  • Module 2: February 11, 2026 - June 24, 2026

• Option 2: Saturday: 9:30 - 11:50

  • Module 1: September 27, 2025 - January 31, 2026

  • Module 2: February 7, 2026 - June 6, 2026
