RESIDENTIAL LIFE & WELLBEING COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising students in the dormitory; 

  • Monitoring social-emotional wellbeing;

  • Mentoring and coaching students;

  • Communicating with parents;

  • Collaborating with counselors and teachers; 

  • Organizing community-building activities;

  • Responding to wellbeing concerns.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Youth Development, or a related field (required).

Required Professional Experience:

  • Minimum two years of experience working with adolescents in a boarding school, residential life, school, youth program, or similar setting.

  • Experience providing pastoral care, mentoring, or student support.

  • Experience supervising students in a residential setting.

  • Experience planning and facilitating student development and community-building programs.

  • Experience collaborating with counselors, teachers, administrators, and families.

  • Experience managing sensitive student situations with professionalism and confidentiality.

Required Knowledge:

  • Adolescent social, emotional, and cognitive development.

  • Social-emotional learning (SEL) principles.

  • Trauma-informed practices.

  • Positive behavior support and restorative practices.

  • Child protection and safeguarding requirements.

  • Mental health awareness and appropriate referral practices.

  • Crisis prevention and response.

  • Boarding school philosophy and residential education best practices.

  • Cultural competency and inclusive practices.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Willingness to live on campus (apartment provided by the school)

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and during school events as required.

  • Proficiency with student information systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

  • Experience working in multicultural or international school environments (preferred).
