ACS Student Wins First Place at National Mathematics Olympiad

April 15, 2026 --- On April 4, ACS's 8th grade student Vasil Vasilev earned a perfect score to take first place at the National Mathematics Olympiad - one of the most demanding competitions in the country.

Just a week earlier, Vasil placed third at the Spring Mathematics Competition, a key stage in the national team selection process. His progression from a podium finish to a flawless performance in such a short time reflects not only outstanding mathematical ability, but also focus, discipline, and consistency under pressure.
