The American College of Sofia recently completed its comprehensive IB Five-Year Evaluation for the period 2020-2025, a vital process that ensures the continuous improvement and fidelity of the International Baccalaureate program. This in-depth review involves a thorough examination of our standards and practices, guiding our strategic development and enhancing the learning environment for our students.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated faculty, staff, and administration for their invaluable contributions to this significant undertaking. Their commitment to investigation, reflection, and implementation has been truly remarkable. We also want to express our sincere appreciation to our wonderful students, supportive parents, and engaged alumni for their thoughtful feedback and participation through surveys. Their perspectives have been crucial in shaping our understanding and future direction.

The evaluation report highlights the school's successful implementation of new strategies, strong IB Diploma Program coordination, and the development of key initiatives focused on student well-being and academic processes. The collaborative approach and use of data have contributed to stronger connections within the ACS community, supporting a positive environment for student learning and well-being.

As we conclude this evaluation, we move forward with enthusiasm and a clear vision, building upon the insights gained to further enhance the high-quality IB education we provide. Thank you to everyone who played a part in the process.
