ACS Student Published in an International Journal of Science
Congratulations, Stefani Naydenova ‘25!
We can’t hide our happiness that our ACSer Stefani Naydenova has made a breakthrough in the international scientific world, which received strong media coverage, as here.
Although only 18 years old, Stefani published her work in the prestigious National High School Journal of Science, dedicated to the treatment of the aggressive oncological disease glioblastoma. You can read her research here.
With such a love for science, it is no coincidence that Stefani was also the main organizer of the tenth edition of the international science festival FISSION, which took place on April 26 at the College.
Along with pursuing her scientific endeavors, Stefani fights to overcome social inequalities and has developed her own educational project, available at teenfuture.bg, to support prospective students from all over the world in partnership with "Teach for Bulgaria."
Stefani is also an active participant at the European Youth Parliament, having recently represented Bulgaria at an international conference in Norway, and volunteers at a school for visually impaired students "Louis Braille" - where she teaches math, physics, and Bulgarian.
Congratulations, Stefani, for bridging the gap between science and practice!
