ACS Success at the Young Talents National Scientific Contest
The Young Talents National Scientific Contest, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science, was held on 23-25.04.2025 at the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Out of a total of 62 scientific projects from all over the country, 36 of them were admitted to the final stage of the contest, three of which were the work of ACSers: Vladislav Natchev (Grade 11), Vasil Stoykov (Grade 11), Elitsa Dekova (Grade 10), and Yana Jordanova (Grade 10), and two of them were awarded.
Vladislav Natchev, with his project titled "Apollonian Sphere and Collinearity under Stereographic Projection", was awarded by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science and will represent Bulgaria at the World Youth Science Fair (EXPO Science International 2025), taking place this year in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Elitsa Dekova and Yana Jordanova received an honorable mention award for their project on "Algebraic Study of a Forbidden Structure in Interval Graphs" in the field of discrete mathematics.
