Merry Box-mas 2014

Christmas was almost a month ago, but beautiful memories and cheerful holiday emotions still warm our hearts. As in the past, at the end of 2014 we filled many boxes with presents for children in need. This initiative was an integral part of our traditional Merry Box-mas campaign. Ever since we have been receiving thank you letters from institutions expressing their gratitude for the generosity of our students and teachers.

Merry Box-mas 2014, initiated and organized by the ACS We Care Club with advisors Silvia Rousseva and Velislava Tsvetkova, broke all previous records, managing to collect a total of 212 boxes with presents. We sent the boxes to eight homes for children deprived of parental care and centers for social support:

-          Nadezhda children’s home, village of Gurkovo, Botevgrad

-          Children’s home , village of Strahilovo, Polski Trymbezh

-          Drugarche children’s home, Varna    

-          Nezabravka children’s home, Stara Zagora

-          Slantse children’s home, Kaspitchan

-          Vjara, Nadezhda, Lyoubov home for medico-social care, Bourgas

-          St Nicola’s orphanage, St Trinity Monastery,Novi Han

-          Sluncho center for social support, Devin

We Care Club would like to thank all ACS students who supported the initiative, as well as the faculty members Diana Nesheva, Borislav Dimitrov, Veselina Tepeshanova, Mariana Pavlova, Cateri Couture-Latour, Teresa Monicken, and Vesislava Ivanova for joining the initiative and making many children a bit happier.
