Sunshine, Talent, and Togetherness: Arts Fest 2025

This June 7th, our campus once again came alive as we welcomed students, parents, alumni, and friends for the annual Arts Fest. Blessed with another beautifully sunny day, this beloved tradition – celebrated since 1995 – remained a highlight of our community calendar. As always, the festival’s purpose was to raise funds in support of student scholarships, student activities, and campus improvements.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who played a part in making this event a success: our talented student performers and clubs, dedicated parent ambassadors, hardworking faculty and staff, and the many enthusiastic guests who joined us.

Thanks to the generous and active support of many, donations to this year's Arts Fest reached the impressive total of 47,744 BGN from advance donations from parents, alumni and friends of the College and donations from the charity initiatives during the event itself on 7 June. These proceeds will directly benefit the ACS scholarship fund and further improvements to our athletics spaces. Our need-based financial aid remains essential to advancing the American College of Sofia’s mission – supporting multi-talented students from diverse backgrounds.

A special recognition goes out to our eighth graders, whose dedication and teamwork shone through in the pre-event raffle sales, raising over 3,400 leva. Congratulations to Class 8/6 for leading the way and contributing 1,188 leva! The energy and commitment from all our student clubs paid off as they raised funds to support their ongoing activities, scholarships, and campus enhancements.

The largest ACS community event once again featured a fantastic selection of specialty goods from student clubs and parent ambassadors. From homemade treats and personalized poems to custom t-shirts and artwork, there was something for everyone. The exciting raffle and outstanding student performances made the day truly special. Popular attractions like the hammock forest provided a cool retreat, while the hands-on demonstrations in robotics and chemistry brought plenty of excitement.

It was wonderful to see so many ACS alumni return, many introducing us to their families. Their presence added a special warmth to the festivities and reminded us of the lasting bonds within our community.
